You're going to buy beer and wine anyway. You might as well help animals while doing so.
On Saturday, March 8, choose from 22 wines, eight craft beers and two hard ciders, all to benefit the Pet Rock Festival, the area's largest benefit for animals. These spirits, all with an animal theme, were hand-chosen by KJ Baaron's for the benefit. Simply pick one of 'em, and 10 percent of each sale goes directly to the cause. Pet Rock Fest, which happens in September, is a family festival that benefits New England animal organizations. Read all about it on the site.
KJ Baaron's is technically on Summer Street, but it's that new place on the rotary near Union Station. Drop in. Help us out. Hours on Saturday are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and there are wine tastings after noontime.
Visit www.petrockfest.com for more info on the festival this year.
