Banana Peppers

They really are kind of awesome.

Does anyone know where to get them locally? I have been to a few of the grocery stores and can't find them. Any ideas?

the pickled ones that are sliced perfectly for your sandwich? Kind of a yellowish green color?

You can find the pickled ones in any grocery store. The fresh ones, you can Price Chopper on Cambridge St as they seem to have the biggest produce section. Also try Price Right on Gold Star.

Wow, you win Non Sequitur of the Week. But yeah, I like those too. Actually, I only like hot or pickled types of peppers. Straight up green, red, etc, bell peppers make me gag.

Already tried Cambridge St on Sunday. No dice, but that was the first place I thought of too. I will try Price Rite this week.

Ahh... you can use Italian peppers instead for this. Or if you like hot peppers, you can use the Hungarians.
When is dinner?

Yeah but I really really think Banana Peppers are really perfect. Just the right amount of spicy. JUST RIGHT.

These really aren't dinner as much as snacky party, no?

If the banana peppers are gotten I will make these and walk around with a tray and ask for tips and smile and wink and smoke dope out in the alley with the guests.
