This May at The Armsby Abbey

Well its official, our 2nd location, The Armsby Abbey at 144 North Main Street in Worcester, is under construction! Everything seems to be moving right along and we’re hoping to be open for the last weekend in June.

At The Armsby Abbey we aim to celebrate the artisan craftsman in all aspects of our establishment, support sustainable agriculture, and promote a SLOW existence.

Our bar is being handcrafted in Petersham, MA by John Sammis, a Master Craftsman. It is made entirely out of sustainable growth South African mahogany and will not only be the showpiece of The Armsby Abbey, but also the perfect compliment to our stunning collection of glassware.

The beer selection will feature 26 Rotating Craft Draughts (6 dedicated to Belgian), 1 Cask, Over 150 Unusual Bottles (70+ of which will be Belgian), including some of the rarest beers on the planet.

Our Farmhouse style menu will feature SLOW food, so do plan on taking your time when you enter our establishment. Some of the items you can look forward to ordering include: an array of farmstead cheeses, artisan hearth baked breads, farm fresh salads, small plates, sandwiches, and stone fired rustic pizzas.

As with our beer selection, The Armsby Abbey menu will change often, especially with the seasons. While we aim to utilize locally grown produce and livestock from farms across New England whenever possible, if it is not an option for whatever reason, please know we already have purveyors lined up who will supply us with everything we need from farms across the country supporting sustainable agriculture.

And last but not least, we will also offer a small yet eclectic list of wines (available by the bottle only) and a unique collection of handcrafted spirits from artisan distilleries located in New England and from around the world.
