Some other noteworthy events going on in and around the city…

On Friday, make it a point to attend Scott Erb’s booksigning for “Twenty Worcester Artists and Their Work Spaces” at the Davis Gallery. (w link)

On Saturday, Higgins Armory hosts its popular Festival of Ale, which is an evening of tastings from local brewers, talks and treats in the medieval atmosphere of the Great Hall. The event runs from 6-9 p.m. Visit Higgins.org to get tickets; and a new exhibit opens at the Worcester Art Museum called Human Nature(s), which examines works in a range of media by an international roster of contemporary artists who search for answers to the timeworn question, "Who am I?" and invite us to rethink what constitutes our "human nature."
