508 podcast: Bad Sound Quality

Last week's show had terrible sound quality, so I didn't post it here.

This week's has such bad sound quality that I *dare* you to listen.

(It's also one of the most entertaining ones ever; shame about the tech issues.)

I tried. I really did. I bailed around 5 minutes. I found this great photo of you recording this weeks 508.

I was thinking of including a warning that you shouldn't moderate this one to the front page, but then I thought, "Nah, he's not gonna do it...."

For those who are curious, this week I used my iPod headphones as the microphone. Didn't work very well.

I promoted it to the front page pre-listening. I can't demote it, I would feel bad.

Maybe next time you could record direct to wax cylinder? It's a proven technology and sounds a little better than this weeks.

Speaking for myself, I would not feel bad if you demoted this.

(Next week's show, already in the can, is a classic, so you can make up the demotion by promoting that one when it's published.)
